Detailed Itinerary

04:00 AM TO 5:00AM – Pick-Up from Camp/Lodge
Your adventure begins before dawn. Our professional driver-guide will collect you from your lodge or tented camp and transfer you to the launch site by Landrover/Landcruiser. This is effectively a night game drive and you may spot some nocturnal creatures. At the launch site you will meet your pilot, receive a safety briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon

06:30 AM – Pre-Flight Briefing
Meet your licensed pilot for a safety briefing and overview of the flight. Learn about the balloon, wind patterns, and what to expect during takeoff and landing. The pilot can precisely control the altitude of the balloon: sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife below. At other times our pilot may ascend to 1,000 ft or more, to enjoy the wonderful panorama of the national park below. From time to time the pilot must put more heat into the balloon with the burners, in between these burns, there is silence apart from the natural sounds below.

From above, you may spot:
• Herds of elephants
• Lions returning from a night hunt
• Giraffes browsing treetops
• Buffalo and antelope grazing
• Spectacular landscapes and river systems
Each flight lasts approximately 45–60 minutes, depending on weather conditions.

07:15 AM – Champagne Celebration
Upon landing, celebrate your flight with a traditional champagne toast in the bush — a long-standing ballooning tradition.

07:30 AM – Gourmet Bush Breakfast
Enjoy a freshly prepared full English breakfast set under an acacia tree in the wilderness. Dine in true safari style with white linen, fine china, and attentive service.

09:45 AM – Return to Lodge
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to your lodge or continue with your scheduled game drive.
