ITINERARY:

Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara – Afternoon and Evening Game Drive

You will be picked up early in the morning from Nairobi and begin the scenic drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve via the Great Rift Valley, where there will be a brief stop for photography. You will continue to Maasai Mara and arrive at the Lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. In the late afternoon, you will depart for your first game drive in Maasai Mara, which will extend into the evening hours until sunset 4:00-600pm. During this game drive, you will have the opportunity to see a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many other plains animals. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the the wonder of the world.

Day 2: Maasai Mara – Full-Day Game Drive with Picnic Lunch

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will depart with packed picnic lunches for a full-day game drive inside Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will explore different areas of the reserve, including open savannah plains and riverine ecosystems, where wildlife is abundant throughout the year. A picnic lunch will be served at a designated picnic site within the park. The afternoon will be spent continuing the game drive, maximizing wildlife viewing opportunities and increasing your chances of spotting the Big Five and large predator populations. You will return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and begin your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive late afternoon for Lunch, check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge. In the late evening, Enjoy leisure time by the pool. Lake Nakuru  which is renowned for its flamingos, white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and diverse birdlife.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate

You will have an early breakfast and depart by 7am straight to the park. Its a small park with magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big five animals. There is also a possibility to see the pink flamingos . The game drive lasts 3 hours, after which you depart on a 3-hour drive back to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch at the lodge.

After lunch, you will go to hell’s gate for biking safari. If you are too tired you will be driven in the park with a car.

You will later go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park

Breakfast at the lodge and at 7 am, check out and drive to Amboseli national park which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.

Day 6: Full day in Amboseli National Park 

After breakfast Full day spend in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Amboseli to Nairobi

Early morning game drive, later return to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out and drive back to Nairobi arriving at around 4 pm with drop off at the airport or at your hotel.
